However, how to start a web business and earn money with it is a very different question altogether – and it is a bit (a lot!) more complex than you might think! For that reason, I decided to write this article for you and provide you with a simple and straightforward guide to starting a web business.
Your first step should be to develop a “why” for starting a blog. You need to have a clear picture in your head of why you want to run your own blog. And how do you plan to market it? In my case, I use Google AdSense on my blog and I try to make it as relevant to my target audience as possible.
After you’ve developed your why and how you should now decide where to host your blog. There are several options and some of them are better than others. I suggest you go for a hosted plan that will give you a simple interface to manage your blog. Otherwise, there are plenty of other free hosting plans available. And if you’re not up to buying a domain name, go for a free domain that is easy to remember and easy to spell.
